5/11/25: On Their Way To Full Size.
The cycle of feeding and growth continues. They are still fuzzy, but they fill the box.
Mom comes in and feeds them.
A Jerusalem cricket arrives and disappears, while the chick at the upper left appears to be working on a mouse.
The next day, the owlets wiggle in the sun as it pokes through the nest entrance.
5/15/25: Planning Their Exit?
The gang of five is looking more mature all the time, and they seem to be dreaming of the outside world.
Mom brings in food, then leaves.
In the screen capture below, they keep an eye on the door after mom flies off.

5/17/25: Tasty Mouse Parts
The box is more crowded than ever.
Female is in the box several times at night for several minutes each time feeding pieces of mice to the owlets. It does not look at all comfortable to have mom sitting on top of everyone, but they seem to manage.
Here you can see an owlet swallowing a mouse leg and then swallowing most of the hindquarters.
The second clip shows an owlet finishing up another feeding by swallowing a kangaroo mouse tail. One of the owlets seems to take a hard look at the camera.
